About

I’m a 26-year-old who grew up watching all kinds of movies and have always been passionate about them. I am a college grad who studied films, filmmaking, and writing, so why not put those skills to good use and write about movies? My goal is to see as many movies as I can and share them with fellow movie lovers. I’ve created this blog in order to do just that. I want to write about movies, new and old, and share updates on things I’m excited about!

  1. Hey Justine, not so much a comment as a question. I’ve read a few of your articles on martial arts movies now; they’re very good. I’ve gotten about 10 different writers together for an article next week – basically, it asks the question “Who is the Next Jackie Chan?” A trap question, since the answer is “No one,” but I’m more interested in what Jackie Chan’s films mean to different people and who folks think is the next person to take martial arts films in a new direction.

I like to feature other writers because it’s a good way of networking, getting each other’s blogs more readers, and highlighting opinions I wouldn’t have thought of myself. I’m asking people to write a paragraph or two on their answer and tell me a film clip that’ll feature well with it. Would you be interested? Reach me at movieschangeyou-at-gmail dot com if you’d like to join in. (I’d have sent this by e-mail if WordPress.com had that feature, but c’est la vie.) Hope this finds you well.
